No, quotes are free. Once a quote is provided, we do not start ordering any parts or doing any labor until the quote is paid in full, the firearm is in our possession, and our liability waiver has been signed.
Lead times are highly dynamic and dependent on where you are in our queue, how long parts take to arrive, and the level of labor required for your firearm. Quality is our most important priority.
As a general rule, no. If you are in a severe rush, we are happy to talk with you and try to work something out, but increased fees should be expected.
We do not fully refinish firearms, but we can help touch up scratches, wear marks, cracks in wood, and other minor defects. We are working on getting a full refinishing system in place. Until then, we can help you find the perfect vendor to refinish your full firearm.
We generally avoid shipping, but under special circumstances, we can provide assistance via shipping. Any FFL item must be shipped to and from a licensed FFL dealer.
J and C Tactical Solutions does not provide any warranty; however, many of the parts and products we purchase do offer manufacturer warranties, and we are happy to assist you with those warranties if the item was purchased through us.
Generally speaking, any physical modifications to your firearm will result in voiding your warranty. This is a manufacturer-specific question, though, and if you're worried about it, please let us know, and we will make sure you get all the information you need to make an informed decision.
Cleaning, standard manufacturer-approved maintenance, and manufacturer-approved accessories can be mounted safely without voiding your warranty.
Any quote that involves live fire will have a live fire fee. The live fire fee can fluctuate due to the price of ammunition.
Yes, we are happy to test any ammunition you choose; however, we will only use ammunition if it is factory-sealed. No reloads or custom rounds are allowed.
Even if we can't directly provide a service, we can provide "White Glove" support. You tell us what you want done, and we will handle finding a trusted vendor to complete the work and facilitate it as your representative. There is a small fee for this service.
We do offer personal maintenance classes, which include teaching you to field strip and clean your firearm. We also offer dry fire practice training, weapon features training (how to use your firearm, how to use your scope/red dot). Just reach out, and we will get you the help and education you need.
By default, we retain any old or damaged parts that you are replacing. If you would like to keep your old or damaged items, just let us know!
We do not price match. Returning customers receive discounted rates and priority service. Keep an eye on our website for events and deals.
It is important to us that everyone legally allowed to do so is able to enjoy firearms and protect themselves if required. We are excellent at making recommendations and modifications that meet your individual needs. Not sure where to start? Just reach out, and we can give you guidance on where to start.
While it varies by firearm, in almost all cases, we can offer a combination of polishing, springs, and modifications to give you a smooth and satisfying trigger pull. This could even include meeting us in person at one of our partner locations to try handling a few of our show guns to settle on something you will love.
